Concord Rehab

I am sitting on the plane after a very busy and trying intensive 10 days in the US. My father needed hip surgery, so I came running from Europe.
It’s a shame that I don’t remember names (hope it’s not a sign) because I feel that I should really mention many of the staff by name.
My father’s situation warranted someone being with him 24 hours.
I saw the Concord at 3 in the afternoon and at 3 in the morning. All three shifts, when no one was really looking.
I must say that what I saw was people going beyond just what they had to do. I saw people showing respect for the patients and their privacy. Not always easy in such a situation. There is a feeling of people wanting to help people. A type of undercurrent of upbeat energy.
I know that all of you are trying to give the very best possible care.
You are succeeding. It makes me less worried leaving my father as he I know that he is in good hands.
Please give them my warmest compliments.

Concord Health is an amazing facility! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I had a great experience during my visit. Highly recommend!

My family and I will forever be grateful to our Concord family for the outstanding care provided to my grandmother from day 1. She admitted to us a few months ago while she was declining at home. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure her welcoming and transition into the facility. She felt extremely reassured by the nurses, aides, therapist, housekeeping, and the list goes on…
A few that really stand out are from nursing: Vernique, Nicole, Rory, Debbie, Kesha, Wanda Devorah, Donna Cheryl. And many others truly went above and beyond for her. She developed a very close relationship with all of these amazing individuals. Also Judy, Patricia, and Emma went out of there way to constantly check on her and spent a great amount of time with her. Our amazing administrator Jay ensured all her needs were met as he does with each patients that comes trough our door. Cathy, our DON, and Lisa, our ADON, are amazing at what they do.
During her last days as she transitioned, my family and I were humbled by the outpouring love and support by the staff. We will forever be thankful to EVERYONE at Concord. There are many more names to mentioned but please know that everyone was amazing. May God Bless Concord and all the residents and staff members affiliated with us.

I have nothing but good things to say about Concord. They always went above and beyond to make my great grandma feel comfortable and cared for. The staff was very kind and patient to both her and our family, especially when keeping us updated and informed. I am eternally grateful for the love that was consistently given by everyone at Concord and could not recommend them enough!

My dad is a resident at this facility. It is clean and the staff are wonderful. It gives me great peace of mind to know that he is being well taken care of on a daily basis.

I can’t say enough good things about Concord. The facilities are immaculate. Josephine in admissions was extremely kind and attentive, as was the nursing director and entire staff. They took excellent care of my husband and were very gracious to me. I give my highest recommendation to Concord. God bless these wonderful people.

My husband’s grandmother was a patient here until she passed away in November. I am very grateful to the nursing and therapy staff for taking excellent care of her. I am thankful for unit managers Lori & Michele for addressing any issue or concern I had about anything during her entire stay. Grandpa wanted to give a shout out to nurses Charles and Jacob for always being extra kind and helpful while taking care of her, and another thank you to Lori & Josephine for being by our side as she transitioned to heaven. I can’t thank you all enough for everything. Concord is truly filled with angels on Earth.

Don’t know what they’re doing at other rehab facilities today, but this is what we’re doing today at Concord. It’s a beautiful happy day here with residents and staff. There’s a lot of happiness going around and a whole lot more to give! ❤️

I live in the UK and my elderly aunt who lives in the USA required nursing care and rehabilitation. We were advised by friends of how great the care is at Concord I must admit they have surpassed my expectations. I do not know how I would have managed without the input and care given by Josephine. She is an asset to this care home. She has gone above and beyond in the help and care she has given to me and my aunt. Due to covid I have been unable to travel and Josephine has been my liaison with my aunt. She started as a contact but we see her more as family She shops for her in her own time and nothing I ask of her is too much trouble. I cannot fault the care my aunt gets.

I visited Mr. M today and got to meet a good number of your employees. I have nothing negative to say about them. They are all really nice.

I got to have some contact with the Supervisor who is a really lovely, kind, friendly and joyous lady. I have to compliment everyone I’ve met.

Thank you for taking good care of my father during his time in your facility. He was an intelligent but difficult man to please. I hope that none of your staff were offended by his racist and bigoted statements. He was a product of his life experiences. Thank you again.

We would like to thank the entire Concord staff for their kindness, efficiency, and respect shown for our Aunt. Thank you, too, for the fantastic care and warmth you show to our Mom each day. It’s appreciated by Mom and myself.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the kindness and care shown to my parents. It was such a blessing that my Dad got to share his last few days next to my Mom. On the occasions when I would be feeling sad or crying, the great staff always comforted me and listened tome. I will always be grateful.

I recommend the Concord to anyone that needs it. I want to thank everyone there for being so kind me. I felt like royalty. The Nurses and Aides were very kind and courteous. Rehab was great, good people. I’m doing what I’m doing today because of them.

I’m Rich’s wife and I have to agree with him. The kind and caring staff you have are so much appreciated even by our family. Thank you for the respect and understanding shown to us as well. Thank you all!

I want to express my appreciation to your staff for the help and attention they gave me during my recent “sojourn” at your facility. Of course my recovery was due to the efforts of your therapy staff. I feel I met all of them including part-timers on weekends. Their attention and discipline probably made me fitter than I’ve been in years.

The usual sentiment is to hope to return but not in this case. As has been said I wouldn’t want to repeat it but I wouldn’t trade the experience for a fortune.

To all the staff of Concord, thank you for relieving any concerns I may have had when they told me I was being transferred from the hospital to a rehab center. Not long after arriving I became aware of very dedicated professionals who made me feel better. I especially want to express thanks to all in rehab.

Mrs. D. will soon be leaving. Her recovery is nothing short of a miracle from heaven that a number of special people at you facility have been part of.

We are writing to congratulate you and your terrific staff for the great service provided by Concord. Our 89-year-old father, John, spent approximately six weeks at your facility rehabbing from a variety of conditions. As we wheeled dad into Concord, we of course were worried and concerned about how he would be treated and respond to spending weeks in a rehab facility. Our concerns almost immediately started to ease as we entered your facility. It was sparkling clean and reminded us of a nice hotel rather than a nursing home. We met the staff that would be responsible for dad’s care. They all introduced themselves with a big smile and they each echoed what seemed to be Concord’s motto: “If you need anything just ask!” Over the next six weeks, we witnessed first hand that “just ask” was all we had to do.

The conscientious nurses were very anxious to ensure dad’s physical wellbeing. The efficient aides tried their hardest to make sure dad was always comfortable. The knowledgeable rehabilitation staff got dad back on his feet again” The social worker was always willing to answer our endless questions. We can say, without reserve, that everyone involved in any aspect of dad’s care was a talented, caring professional. Even the recreation workers were always striving to find activities to interest the large variety of patients and the kitchen staff tried very hard to please our “fussy eater.” The facilities at Concord were top notch. However, what really made Concord stand out was the quality and genuinely caring attitude of each and every employee.

My father, who is 100 years old, was a patient at Concord. When he got to Concord from the hospital he was not doing so well and in a wheelchair. Presently, he has moved on. Dad is walking and enjoying his life. The staff is tops!!! Each one deserves a shout out, but the list is too long. So a HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff for your exemplary work. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Jay, Josephine, Lori, Emma, Elyce, Charles, Pierre, Nicole, Leah, Cynthia…you are sent here from the heavens above!!
