At Concord we take pride in caring for many individuals who served in the US Armed Forces. Always looking for ways to enhance the comfort of our distinguished veterans and to show our respect and appreciation, we tend to their needs on many levels – be it physical, spiritual or social-emotional.

We offer special Veterans Programming year round, with many opportunities for socializing in the company of peers. Whether it’s a trip down to the Legion in Toms River, a visit from the Ladies Auxiliary, or participating in the annual Memorial Day Parade –our veterans eagerly anticipate these special events.

Our veterans were proud to participate in this year’s Lakewood Township Memorial Day Parade riding down Clifton Avenue in Concord’s banner bedecked bus. Following the parade, each of our vets had his picture taken with Mayor Ray Coles.

Concord Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, the only VA contracted nursing home serving Ocean and Monmouth Counties, is proud to have many veterans call our facility home. Respectful of our vets’ distinctive needs and in recognition of their dedicated service, we offer special Veterans Programming year round – with many opportunities for socializing in the company of peers.

This year we marked Veterans Day with a socially distanced tribute to the 19 distinguished veterans who reside at Concord Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. The event was graciously sponsored by our friends at Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals who supplied the decorations, paper goods, light refreshments, and medals of honor.
